A few months ago we caught a super early flight to Atlanta. After picking up our car rental, food was on our minds and we headed over to Le Petit Marche, check out their website here.
The moment we walked into the front door we where greeted with a warm welcome and the southern hospitality was oozing from the walls. Le Petit Marche has notebooks scattered on the tabels for its visitors to write in, it’s fun to see all the travelers that have come across this gem!
Every inch of wall was covered with something neat and creative. After sitting down and enjoying all the art that the restaurant had to offer we ordered our food. Everything on the menu was below $10 – delicious food that’s affordable! double win!
Our food was brought out to us quickly and boy was it yummy! You must try the grits! Midway through our meal a young woman came and checked to see how everything was! (Later we found out that she was the owner) It was so nice to see her put so much care into customer service. It’s no wonder this place has be successful when you have someone running it that puts so much thought into every aspect of the restaurant. She is a great example of someone that is resilient and adaptable! Check out the full story of how she started this restaurant in the middle of 2008, the year of the greatest economic down turn! I fell in love with her focus on community and looking forward to seeing her business continue to grow.
We are already looking forward to our next trip to Atlanta and starting off our trip at Le Petit Marche for some yummy breakfast!
